Southwestern waters news:  It looks like we have a new record redear sunfish, caught in Lake Havasu in February.  It was officially weighed in at 4.14 pounds.  The angler is David Smith.

Check out this link to Yuma Bass Man, an excellent website about fishing around the Yuma area.  There are forums for bass, catfish, panfish and a host of others.  This site has all you need to know about fishing in the southwestern part of the state.

The table below provides the species available in the waters within Southwestern Arizona. For more information such as area maps, concessions and supplies available, boating information, nearest towns, and facilities of these waters, purchase the "Arizona Fishin' Holes" book from Arizona Game and Fish Department or view the interactive Arizona Fishing Locations Map for images, videos, species information, driving directions, and more.
