Free seminars teach shotgun and handgun safety

 

Are you interested in learning about shotgun or handgun shooting but don’t know where to start?

The Arizona Game and Fish Department is partnering with the National Shooting Sports Foundation to offer a FREE introductory classes on shotgun and handgun shooting. Each class includes instruction in firearm safety and shooting fundamentals, information on shooting sports opportunities, and the opportunity for hands-on shooting in a safe environment supervised by qualified instructors.

Dates for upcoming first shots class to be announced soon.

Classes will be held at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility. The Ben Avery Shooting Facility is located at 4044 W. Black Canyon Blv. in Phoenix. For more information about the First Shots Program, visit the First Shots Web site at firstshots.org.
