Mexican Wolf Blue Range Reintroduction Project Interagency Field Team

An Interagency Field Team (IFT) carries out the day to day, on-the-ground activities for the Mexican Wolf Blue Range Reintroduction Project (Project).

The IFT operates under the administration and direction of an interagency Adaptive Management Oversight Committee (AMOC), which
is comprised of six co-lead agencies.

The agencies are: Arizona Game and Fish Department, New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, White Mountain Apache Tribe, USDA Wildlife Services, USDA Forest Service, and U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service.

Field Team members are agency employees and interns or volunteers.  Team positions include field team leaders (one per state and tribal lead agency), wildlife biologists and specialists, depredation specialists, conservation education and outreach specialists, field assistants and other such staff as the lead agencies and cooperators may deem appropriate and necessary.

Field Team leaders are responsible for planning, directing and implementing daily activities of the IFT members.  They are also responsible for drafting annual work plans, annual performance reports and any new or revised Project operating procedures that are subject to AMOC approval.
