Arizona Budget

The Arizona Game and Fish Department does not receive monies from the Arizona State General Fund and operates primarily on the revenues generated through the sale of Hunting and Fishing Licenses and the discretionary purchases of Arizona’s hunters and anglers. As a State agency, the Department’s budget is subject to the oversight of the Executive and Legislative branches of state government.
