Known for their speed\, intelligence and distinctive black facial mask and feet\, black-footed ferrets spend much of their lives underground and emerge at night to hunt their primary prey: prairie dogs. \nThis engaging program will explore the unique relationship between black-footed ferrets and prairie dogs\, the factors that led to the species’ extirpation from much of its native range\, and the conservation efforts underway to bring it back from the brink of extinction. \nRegister here for $10. This is a virtual event that you will log on to attend through your computer.
