Family fishing events: Verde River Days, Saturday, Sept. 30, in Cottonwood

“Verde River Days” at Dead Horse State Park in Cottonwood, AZ

Comments:        The Arizona Game and Fish Department has coordinated with AZ State Parks at Dead Horse Ranch State Park to bring you

                                free fishing during Verde River Days! Bring your family out to enjoy free fishing and instruction from AZGFD Sport Fishing Education Program and volunteers. Bait is provided as well as loaner rods will be made available on a first-come, first-serve basis. While the Verde River Days festivities will go from 9am-3pm, the family fishing will occur from 8am-12 noon only. “Family Fishing Fun” at Cesar Chavez Park (Alvord Lake) in Phoenix, AZ

Comments:        Please join the AZGFD Sport Fishing Education Program, Maricopa County Supervisor Steve Gallardo, along with

partners Coconino County Supervisor Liz Archuleta, Phoenix Councilman Nowakowski-District 7, H.E.C.H.O. (Hispanics

Enjoying Camping, Hunting and the Outdoors), and the Laveen Baseball League for a morning of family fishing fun!  The

Arizona Game and Fish Department  will be providing loaner rods and bait  for this event (or you may bring your own).

Bring your family out to enjoy free fishing and instruction from AZGFD Sport Fishing Education Staff and volunteers.  The event is open to all ages.
