Ben Avery Shooting Facility Reopens
Effective Wednesday, Nov. 4, the “Iron Ranger” will be retired from the Ben Avery Archery Range. Starting Nov. 4, all Archery Range fees must be paid online or in person, at the Ben Avery Clay Target Center’s OneAZ Pavilion. You must keep your receipt (either digital or paper) on your person while at the Ben Avery Archery Range.
To ensure public health and safety protocols are observed, and to maximize opportunities for all recreational shooters, only online reservations will be accepted when BASF reopens at 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 13. The new online reservation system will be available Monday, May 11.
A reservation is not needed to shoot on the archery range. Archers can purchase a daily pass online, or pay a daily fee (cash only) near the archery range entrance.
- A face covering is required to enter any public restroom or building.
- A face covering is required if you cannot maintain physical distancing of 6 feet or more.
The Arizona Game and Fish Commission recently approved the department’s first proposed pricing adjustments for the Ben Avery Shooting Facility (BASF) since 2008. The new daily fees are effective July 1, 2020
