PHOENIX — A new version of the Arizona E-Tag app is now available. Before heading into the field, the Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) recommends that hunters and anglers update their Arizona E-Tag app through either the Apple App or Google Play stores.
One of the benefits of Arizona E-Tag includes the customer’s ability to store and view hunting and fishing licenses. A convenient feature, this can be particularly time-saving in the field if you need to provide verification of a valid license.
What’s new in the latest version of the app:
Improved license and tag access
- Upon opening the app, users will now see their licenses displayed first.
- Quick navigation has been added, allowing users to easily switch between licenses and tags.
- The full hunt description is now displayed directly within the tag details.
Language and display preferences
- Users can now instantly switch between English and Spanish within the app.
- Light and Dark mode can also be toggled instantly for easier viewing in different conditions.
A free AZGFD portal account is needed to sync licenses with the app. Don’t have an account? Open one by visiting accounts.azgfd.com/Account/Register.
Whether or not a hunter opts to receive an electronically generated hunt permit-tag, all licenses can still be stored and viewed in the app. As a reminder, the app allows for licenses to be easily available if requested, even in areas or terrain that might not receive cellular network coverage.
