NEWS RELEASE

June 29, 2026

PHOENIX — Arizona muzzleloader hunters who were unsuccessful in the recent 2026 Fall Draw still have an opportunity to receive a hunt permit-tag for antlered white-tailed deer in November.

The three leftover muzzleloader hunt permit-tags that remain are for antlered white-tailed deer in Game Management Unit 33 in southeastern Arizona. The hunt runs Nov. 13–19.

Visit this link to see the leftover list and print your paper application.

AZGFD will accept paper applications for leftover hunt permit-tags — by mail only — beginning at 8 a.m. Monday, July 6.

All completed paper applications must be addressed to:

Arizona Game and Fish Department
Attn.: Draw/First Come
5000 W. Carefree Highway
Phoenix, AZ 85086

These tags are issued on a first-come, first-served basis, and there is no “mini” draw. Successful applicants will see the issued hunt permit-tag information in their AZGFD Portal Account. Please allow 10 to 15 business days to receive a hunt permit-tag by mail.

For those who qualify, there are military hunts available at Fort Huachuca. First come/first served tags will be posted on their iSportsman page at https://fthuachuca.isportsman.net.

For more information, including license and hunt permit-tag requirements, refer to the Arizona Hunting Regulations.
