Hunters, anglers, outdoors enthusiasts and the general public are reminded that a federally compliant identification card will be required for domestic air travel beginning May 7, 2025.

An Arizona Travel ID, which is a REAL ID-compliant driver’s license or identification card, is a convenient option for those who do not wish to carry their passport or have another federal ID option available when traveling domestically.

The card is $25 and is good for 8 years. It will take about 10 days to arrive in the mail in a blank, white envelope. More than 2.67 million Arizona Travel IDs have been issued thus far.
