Just for Educators: Citizen Science Hands-on Workshop

Join the Arizona Game and Fish Department’s Focus Wild Arizona educators for a free workshop highlighting how citizen science connects students to real-world wildlife research. As Citizen Science Month wraps up, this workshop will explore digital tools that allow students and educators to document plants and animals and contribute observations to active science projects. Participants will also gain hands-on experience using these tools while learning how to take part in the Greater Phoenix City Nature Challenge, a global community science event.

Please read the information on the registration page to have a better understanding of what to expect during this in-person workshop. Upon program completion, all participants will receive numerous resources and a certificate for 5 hours of professional development credit.
