Harvest Reporting, Tracking & Questionnaire
In Arizona, hunters are required to submit mandatory harvest reports on all Over the Counter (OTC) Archery Deer, Black bear, Mountain Lion harvest, and Trapping. Use the section below for Mandatory Harvest Reporting. Hunters can use the Harvest Tracking below to see the current open units and harvest limits. All big game and small game hunters should also submit voluntary hunter questionnaires for their hunts at the Hunter Questionnaire section below. Participation in the questionnaires are critical to help us accurately estimate species harvest and set permit levels each year.
Mandatory Harvest Reporting
Mandatory harvest reporting is required for Over the Counter (OTC) Archery Deer, Black bear, and Mountain lion hunting in Arizona, and must be reported within 48 hours of your harvest. For trapping in Arizona, all trappers must submit a trapping report by the end of the current season. To report your harvest, click the species image below and fill out your report. For Black bear and Mountain Lion, a mandatory physical check in is required within ten days from the date of harvest and the unfrozen skull, hide, and proof of sex must be easily visible. Successful hunters must contact the Department office, where they plan to bring their bear or lion, by telephone to coordinate inspections.

Harvest Questionnaire
Harvest Questionnaires are a critical component of the hunt recommendation process, and your information helps us to accurately estimate species harvest and set permit levels each year. Big game harvest questionnaire links can be found on the back of your tag, and small game species questionnaires can be found below. Click on the image of the species you hunted and complete the questionnaire. Our goal is to receive a response from every hunter, even if you did not go hunting or did not harvest.
