Just for Educators: Digital Maps in the Classroom Two-Day Workshop
Is your classroom ready to explore the power of GIS technology? GIS is transforming the way we explore and understand the world around us, and it’s essential for students to learn these skills early. Join Arizona Game and Fish Department, Focus Wild Arizona educators for a hands-on, two-day workshop focused on introducing your students to digital mapping and GIS technologies. During this workshop, you’ll explore free digital resources that will help bring GIS into your classroom and engage your students in mapping activities. This event is ideal for upper elementary, middle, and high school educators, but all educators are welcome to attend. Since the content builds across both days, attendance at both sessions is required.
