Rifle Marksmanship I: Fundamentals Course
Take your rifle skills to the next level with the Rifle Marksmanship I: Fundamentals course at the Ben Avery Shooting Facility Rifle and Pistol Range. Building off the material covered in the Basic Rifle Optics and Sight-In class, this course covers the fundamentals necessary for long range shooting, including scope mounting, rifle fit, sight alignment, trigger control, and dry fire practice. The day begins with classroom instruction followed by time on the range to verify your zero and apply the day’s lessons. It is highly recommended to attend the Basic Rifle Optics and Sight-in class before attending this course. The Rifle Marksmanship I, Fundamentals course will teach you the techniques needed for long range shooting and is a prerequisite for the Rifle Marksmanship II Course. Class is limited to five participants.
