Call to the Public
AZGFD Accepting Public-Private Alliance Information
Key Dates and Timeline
Call to the Public Opens: January 15
45 Day Response Deadline: March 1
The purpose of this Call to the Public is to solicit background information on entities that may have interest in building a mutually beneficial relationship with the Arizona Game and Fish Department. This process is intended to reach the public and increase the diversity of future alliances. This Call to the Public is not a request for proposals and does not constitute a commitment, implied or otherwise, that the AZGFD will take action to pursue an alliance with any entity. Neither the State of Arizona nor the AZGFD will be responsible for any cost incurred in furnishing this information.
The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) conserves and protects the state’s 800-plus species of wildlife. The AZGFD’s critical on-the-ground work is done without any general fund tax dollars. Primary funding is through sales of fishing and hunting licenses, tags or stamps, and via federal excise taxes on firearms/ammunition and fishing/boating equipment.
AZGFD is interested in building relationships with entities operating in Arizona and establishing public-private alliances that will allow AZGFD to reach new customers and provide funding for wildlife conservation. AZGFD is seeking alliances that will exemplify the Governor’s emphasis on embracing innovation to promote Arizona’s businesses while expanding opportunities to fund conservation of the state’s natural resources.
AZGFD is seeking information that may help us make contact with entities with which to build an alliance. Topics include:
Basic Background Information
- Company name
- Main contact
- Ownership information
- Location information
- Description of business model, products, manufacturing and distribution
- Description of business competencies
- Target audience/customer base
- Vision for a mutually beneficial alliance with AZGFD
