Background
The Arizona Game and Fish Department (AZGFD) conserves and protects the state’s 800-plus species of wildlife. The AZGFD’s critical on-the-ground work is done without any general fund tax dollars. Primary funding is through sales of fishing and hunting licenses, tags or stamps, and via federal excise taxes on firearms/ammunition and fishing/boating equipment.
AZGFD is interested in building relationships with entities operating in Arizona and establishing public-private alliances that will allow AZGFD to engage diverse audiences and provide funding for wildlife conservation.
