The Arizona Game and Fish Department has been collecting examples of wildlife-related phenomena that can be used in the classroom. Each phenomenon includes suggested ways to use it as well as potential standards that can be addressed by using it. Students could view the maps and look for patterns, trends and differences. This will allow them to generate questions related to why certain areas may experience more intense migrations and even how scientists are able to predict when birds will migrate through areas.
