Predator and Prey
In this activity, students will read a short passage about fish, then use that knowledge to label a drawing of a fish.
By completing this lesson, your students will be able to:
- Obtain and evaluate information from a nonfiction text about predator and prey relationships.
- Identify which animal is the predator and which is the prey from text descriptions.
- Apply their knowledge to identify new predator/prey relationships.

In this activity, students will learn about predators and prey. They will then identify the predator and prey in different animal relationships. Finally, they will color a picture and add their own predator/prey relationship.
