Just for Educators: Science of Mud Turtles Workshop
In this exciting, hands-on workshop, educators will have an opportunity to work in the field with Arizona Game and Fish Department biologists and learn how they conduct surveys for Sonoran mud turtles. After a morning spent in a desert riparian ecosystem, participants will move inside to learn about Arizona’s turtle species through engaging activities that can be brought back to their classrooms.
Participants will receive numerous resources and a certificate for at least six hours of professional development credit.
