Shooter’s Campground East
Campers, be advised that Shooters’ Campground East has been re-numbered:
- Sites 1-53 have water and electricity
- Sites 54-95 are dry
Shooter’s Campground East has 95 sites. 53 sites have water and electricity (30 & 50 amp) hookups and 42 sites have no utilities and are available for self-contained units or tent use.
- 3 restrooms with showers
- 2 group fire rings
- Dump station (for paying guests only)
- Laundry facility in the campground

The Central Shooters’ Campground offers 22 reserveable camp sites featuring full hook ups (water, sewer, and electricity). Sites 1-18 offer 30 amp power and sites 19-22 offer 30 and 50 amp power. This campground is located south of Calle Silhouette and the Mounted Shooting Arenas.
Covered barn stalls are available for horses. Note that this is not a boarding facility and owner is responsible for horse care and stall cleaning. Owners must make arrangements for bedding, as BASF does not provide it.

Campground Rules
Camping fees must be paid upon arrival at the facility office during office hours which are Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, excluding state holidays. NO refunds are given for any reason whatsoever. Check-in and check-out time is 12 noon. In the absence of prior approval from facility office, campers checking out after 12 noon will be charged for an additional day of camping. Vehicles and campers left more than two hours after check-out time without prior facility office approval will be towed at owner’s expense. Maximum of six people per site including daily guests.
One camping unit and one vehicle or two vehicles are permitted per camp site. Quiet hours are from 10pm-6am. After hours access is through the east campground gate. Gate code for this entrance can be obtained by contacting the facility office during regular office hours. Dump station lock combination is the same as gate code. All range areas are closed after hours. Do not enter the range areas when the facility is closed. Parking along roadways is not permitted. Driving is only permitted along developed roadways, and drivers must follow the posted speed limit.
No amplified sound devices permitted. Fires are restricted to charcoal in grills. Facility office approval must be obtained before lighting any campfires. No grey water discharge except into the dump stations. Restroom, showers, and dump station are for paying campground patrons only. All trash must be placed in the provided trash receptacles.
All pets must be leashed. All pet waste must be immediately removed by owners. Shavings or straw for bedding in horse stalls are not permitted due to high winds. Pine pellets or wood stove pellets are recommended alternatives. Horse stalls must be cleaned completely and all bedding and waste must be removed and placed in the appropriate waste container before check-out. Ben Avery Shooting Facility is not responsible for any accidents or injury to guests, or for loss of money, jewelry, or valuables of any kind.
Only grounded cords may be plugged into BASF outlets in the campground.
We reserve the right to refuse service.
Violation of any campground rule is grounds for eviction.
